Greenpointe condominiums are located in West Bloomfield just north off of West 14 Mile Road and west of Halstead Road. They consist of two separate phases built in 1987 and 1988 with a total of 438 units. With both colonial and ranch designs and a peacefully wooded complex, this is one of the most popular condominium complexes in West Bloomfield.  All homes feature a basement, large storage areas, two-car tandem garages, and all the amenities of the Greenpointe Association.

About the Condos

This complex comes complete with tennis courts, two swimming pools, and walking trails. There are four possible floor plans, the largest being around 1448 ft.² with 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2+ baths, and several units with a walkout lower level. The next largest plan is 1255 ft.² in a ranch-style with 2 to 3 bedrooms, 2+ bathrooms, and a full basement. The two smallest are 1202 and 1164 square-feet featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths and a full basement. Most homes come with a gas fireplace.

Due to the age of these condos, several have undergone updates and upgrades over the years. Higher-priced homes generally have more updated materials, finishes, and flooring.

Association

The Association fees are between $300 and $375 per month. There are two separate management companies for Greenpointe – one for each phase. These fees cover common area maintenance, amenity maintenance, general landscaping, and building siding, roof, and chimney maintenance. Pets are allowed but are subject to some restrictions. It’s important to check with the covenants and conditions about pet ownership. Also, this condominium complex has gone back and forth on FHA approval so it’s important to check with the Association before agreeing to an FHA loan on one of these condos.

Schools and Nearby

The Greenpointe condominiums are located in the desirable Walled Lake school district and are served by the Maple Elementary School, James Geisler Middle School, and Walled Lake High School. The closest modern conveniences are about a half a mile away over on Highway 5. You’ll find the Home Depot, Target, Pet Smart, Staples, Costco, fitness centers, markets, restaurants, and more. The intersection of I-275 and I-696 is about 15 minutes south or 8 miles.
