What’s the weather like in West Bloomfield Michigan?
Today? Well today is September 17th, and it’s actually quite lovely outside; High of about 75 to 77 and a low of 55. It doesn’t get much more perfect than that. With a few clouds drifting over the sun occasionally, this is about as perfect as West Bloomfield gets. Low enough in the evening to cool things down and warm enough during the day to tackle any outside projects such as landscaping or simply taking in the sunshine out on your patio with a cool glass of iced tea by the lake.
While this is not West Bloomfield every day, and the rest of the week looks like it’s going to be in the low to mid 60s, we are typically mild most of the year. In the dead of winter it can get to 20 below so the chance of building a snowman is excellent while in the summertime we can reach about 85 as the high. This usually pleases most residents of the West Bloomfield area in that we never really reach that 90° to 100° heat temps like most of the southern states of the US.

The lows during this time range just from about 50 to 55° and starting in mid-October it starts to dip into the low 40s for the overnight low. January tends to be our coolest month with the lows around the mid-teens and the highest in the low to mid 30s. The warmest month, July, typically averages about 80 to 85°.
The rainfall around West Bloomfield typically happens in the summer months between June and September. While we never really have a lot of rain, June is typically are biggest month with about 4 to 5 inches of rain. This keeps our rolling hills green, and our beautiful leaves lush all summer and ready for the fall. Our driest month is February with less than 2 inches of rain but, you may still get that occasional snow flurry this time of the year.
