Country Ridge is a subdivision in Farmington Hills Michigan located between Halsted Road and Haggerty Road, just south of West 14 Mile Road. This collection of 364 homes was built out in eight different phases. There are two entrances off of West 14 Mile Road and one entrance off of Halsted Road, however, the subdivision is accessible through Farmington Ridge to the south.

Homes in Country Ridge were built between 1980 and 2004 and typically feature 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2 .5 to 4 bathrooms, and either two or three-car garages. Many homes also feature a full-size basement. Several homes are fully brick and some are a combination of brick and wood, but all are slightly different, escaping from that “cookie-cutter” design seen in many subdivisions around Farmington Hills. Most floor plans are two stories, however, there are some ranches throughout the neighborhood.

These homes are primarily colonial in style sitting on wooded lots with beautifully landscaped frontage and high end finishes throughout most homes. You’re likely to find granite or quartz counters, hardwood floors, eat-in kitchens and large family rooms with gas fireplaces.  Most master bedrooms feature a walk-in closet, full bath with granite countertops, and a large shower.  Country Ridge boasts many nature paths and parks.

Schools & Nearby

Country Ridge is served by Walled Lake Consolidated School District and the following schools: Meadowbrook Elementary School,  James R Geisler Middle School, and Walled Lake Western High School. These schools are between one and a half and four miles from County Ridge.

One of the best things about the Country Ridge subdivision is its close proximity to shops, freeways, and Henry Ford Hospital. Just a few minutes west along Highway M-5 is a Costco, Target, Home Depot, fitness center, markets, restaurants, cleaners, and more. Most residents are no more than five minutes from daily errands and the commute along West 14 Mile Road makes accessibility to the major interstate interchange extremely convenient.
