Fall is in the air! It’s crisp, cooler, and the leaves are turning, and Bloomfield Township is getting started with the Autumn events. Here’s what’s happening around Bloomfield Township this October and November.
The Monster Mash – October 27th, The Orchard Mall is hosting their annual Monster Mash on Friday from 7 PM – 9 PM. Tickets are just $5 for all participants including children under 13, and all proceeds will be donated to Detroit Dog Rescue. This is perfect for kids of all ages. Goodie bags will be handed out at the door while supplies last. Come in your favorite costume because you will have a chance to win awesome prizes. Dance the night away, have some delicious ghoulish treats, and stay to win some great prizes.
Oakland Dance Festival – Speaking of dance, join us on Saturday, November 18th at Harrison High School located at 29995 W. 12 Mile Road in Farmington Hills for the 12th annual Oakland Dance Festival. From 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, there will be master dance classes offering lessons in a variety of dance styles with workshops, scholarship auditions, performance evaluations and a showcase concert. The concert will feature dance companies from colleges and universities throughout Michigan. This is for all students grade 8 – 12.
Fall Festival at Bowers School Farm – Every year the Bowers School Farm puts on their annual Fall Festival. This year it’s October 14th and 15th from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You’ll enjoy everything you’ve come to love about the Bowers School Farm including wagon rides, live music, food trucks, bouncy house, inflatable’s, historical activities and of course, lots and lots of pumpkins. Decorate your pumpkin, bowl with your pumpkin, paint your pumpkin and warm up with some hot cider! This is a free event and perfect for kids and adults of all ages.
Haunted Forest – If you’re looking for some really scary fun, you’ll have to check out the Haunted Forest every weekend in October. This Haunted Forest returns to the Adventure Park at 6600 West Maple Rd. in West Bloomfield. Tickets are still available and depending on your level of fear, you can choose the Haunted Forest or the Terror Trail, not for the faint of heart. The events run October 13th through the 29th on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30 PM until 10:00 PM. Prices are between $16 and $36 per person. Enter if you dare!
