Farmington Square is a subdivision located in Farmington Hills Michigan although the legal description is “Meadowglen”. Residents and street signs refer to this location as Farmington Square.

Farmington Square is located just north of West 9 Mile Road and west of Halsted Road. This is not to be confused with Farmington Square condominiums, which is located north of Interstate 696 and south of West 12 Mile Road. There are four entrances to this subdivision. These homes were built between 1978 and 1987 and feature larger, colonial style homes with a few ranch-style homes interspersed throughout the neighborhood.

This collection of 254 homes feature circular driveways, inviting entryways, hardwood floors, crown molding, formal living rooms, and family rooms with vaulted ceilings and cozy fireplaces. Several formal dining rooms also have a bay window with eat-in kitchens and oversized gourmet islands. Most homes also have a walk-in pantry. Master bedrooms boast bay windows, walk-in closets, and large master baths. Most homes have 3 to 4 bedrooms and 2 to 4 bathrooms, basements for additional storage, and 2-3 car garages.

HOA

The Association maintains their own website for residents, events, rules and regulations, and any information they want shared with the neighborhood.

Residents in Farmington Square enjoy their own private park managed and maintained by the homeowner’s association. Homeowners dues are less than $20 per month and cover all management and maintenance of common areas. Association dues are paid annually.

Schools

Schools assigned to the subdivision are in the Farmington Public School District and residents are served by Hillside Elementary School,  Power Middle School, and Farmington High School.

This residential neighborhood is ideal for commuters as the main interstate exchanges are located just a couple of minutes north. Shops, restaurants, industrial areas, and commercial districts are no more than five minutes for most homes in Farmington Square. Local parks, golf clubs, and entertainment are all about 10 to 15 minutes away.
