Now that summer is currently upon us, we will have days where the weather will dip into the 60s but most of the time days are now within the low to mid 80s and it’s beautiful outside! There are many things to do outside and indoors when the weather gets just too hot around West Bloomfield, Michigan. Family Aquatic Center Outdoor Pool opened June 13 for the 2013 summer season and is open daily from noon to 7 PM. Enjoy fun water parks, children’s playground area, shallow area, diving board and more. This is located at 6200 Farmington Rd. in West Bloomfield. Don’t forget dollar days are on June 24, July 15 in August 12 and admission is just one dollar.
The West Bloomfield Public Library is also a great location when it’s too hot, cold or rainy outside. Enjoy family reading time, take out some audiobooks or just spend the afternoon in a cool air-conditioned location.
West Bloomfield Summer Concert Series. Every Wednesday from 7 to 8 PM, enjoy the community concert series hot nights and music which provide free music at the Marshbank Park. Enjoy a variety of great bands, good music, food and local fair.
